Owning Masters: Having ownership of your music is imperative! You are able to distribute when and how you want. 

Sample Clearing: It is okay it use/sample someone else’s lyric or sound but you must go through the proper channels to do so. If not it’s considered stealing and you will be on the hook for hella money.
